The first thing that caught my eye when looking at Arlene’s work were the amazing mosaics ! She has a very good eye for color, composition and texture. And they are just so lovely. 🙂
Arlene also makes very pretty jewelry. I especially love the chunk heart pendants.
But most of all I adore the Plant Pokes !!!

Chris Pellow is wonderful artist living in Scotland. She has worked in such mediums as leather, painting with acrylics and watercolors, and metal working. Cat enjoys making mosaics, jewelry and recycled art. Her path to polymer clay started with terracotta clay, which moved on to paper clay. Now she’s one of us. A polymer clay addict 🙂
Colorful – cane work
Inspired – by Ronna’s book
Giving – Bottle of Hope
“Piece”ful – mosaic
Note Worthy – post-it note cover
You can see all of Cat’s work in her Flickr gallery. Or visit her we site ZapKath Art.

I’ve really slacked off this week by not keeping my blog updated Thanksgiving week. Sorry to all my faithful readers 🙂
I was browsing through all my favorite blogs and found a bunch of yummy stuff to share.
A tutorial on stringing reversible tile bracelets
Some must see pendants the artist refers to as Landscapes
Check out the design on these pens. I am fascinated to know how it was done.
Gera Scott Chandler’s Fusion Bangles
A couple adorable geometric pendants
A face canes in profile tutorial you can purchase from Alice Stroppel
And last but not least the Synergy2 Collaborative Tile Project and Contest hosted by the International Polymer Clay Association. Can you match all the artists names to their tile?

I am totally smitten with Julie’s carved designs. Especially this Lotus Pendants !
The Tulip Pocket Mirror is a close second 🙂
You can see all her carved pieces in her Etsy shop
Be sure to check out her other items. She makes some wonderful glass mosaics, too.

I have seen so many beautifully done polymer clay mosaics. One artist in particular has covered everything from birdhouses to guitars. His name is Brian Helm, husband of Sarajane Helm.
Another great mosaic artist is Anke Humpert of Germany
And if you love mosaics with a mixed media flair try Laurie Mika’s colorful work.
Or perhaps you like your mosaics really, really tiny. This brooch was made by artist Jim Traversy.
