I have spent the last week coming up with new designs for myΒ silk screens and stamps. With Spring being here there are lots of flowers and leaves. Plus I have some very interesting organic designs that I am hoping will be very popular. They are perfect for doing Mokume Gane and mica shift. Here are justΒ a few of the designs you will find very soon in my Etsy shop.
These next 2 are from my new duo stamps – 2 designs each.
These 4 are new silk screen designs for Spring.

Sorry I am a day late with this post. The orders for the Helen Breil Silk Screens overwhelmed me just a bit. π I am going to be very bust this weekend.
This weeks artist makes the most amazing boxes I have ever seen ! Her name is Fiona Abel-Smith and I am in awe. They are entirely polymer clay ! !
Look at the details involved. Stunning ! Absolutely stunning !
Even the inside is finished with mokume gane. WOW!
Here is a picture of just the lid to one of her boxes. I can not even imagine how many hours of work this took to complete just the lid.
Oh, and Fiona makes dragons and jewelry too. π
You can see more of Fiona’s work in her Flickr Gallery.

Just spotted these beauties made by Ponsawan Sila.
They are just what I needed to see today. Still waiting for true Spring to show it’s face here in NE Washington State. If I can’t have the real thing I’ll search out the next best thing π
Cheryl Harris entered this stunning piece for the Reader Gallery of Beadwork Magazine
You can see more of Carolyn’s work here.
I found Madllen on Flickr. Quite the flower artist π These lilies are amazing.
Olga Petrova is an artist I found on Polymer Clay Daily. Take a look at these small flower arrangements.
Tina Thompson made these gorgeous Peony beads.
Christine Bondar from the Ukraine made this stunning rose necklace.
I could go on like this for pages π So I will give you one more taste of Spring.
These adorable flower buds were made by Randee M Ketzel.

With a bead LOL
While catching up on my favorite blogs I stopped by Backyard Beads. Oh my Lord – Doreen’s at it again ! Talk about mad skills creating beads using canework. This particular bead I am in love with is just one of 2 new looks Doreen is working on. Green being my favorite colors (shades of olive in particular) I was drawn to the bead on the right, but not to say the blues isn’t totally scrumptious, too. π She calls them Blossoms.
I am hoping she takes my blog comment to heart and uses the green pattern on a 3″ dount. Seriously, Doreen, I would adopt it and give it a really good home π
If by some really bizarre chance you are not familiar with Doreen’s work, skip on over to Backyard Beads, her blog, and take a look see π http://doreenwilley.blogspot.com/

I spent a great deal of the day finishing the new clear stamp designs and testing them to make sure they worked. I create the stamps with Mokume Gane in mind, but they are just like the clear stamps you buy retail and can be inked up the same way.
Here is a sampling of the new designs:
I made a web page so anyone can see all the designs, new and old, in one place. http://www.tonjastreasures.com/stamps/clearstamps.htm
Haven’t gotten them listed anywhere for sale yet, but if you wish to make a purchase email me at tonja@tonjastreasures.com and I can send a PayPal invoice.

Kim Detmers of Clayworks has just revealed her adorable Flower Pots. I found these inventive little lidded bowls in her latest blog post. Can you believe they started with little pumpkin shaped wood boxes?
