Solar Cookers For Clay?

A very interesting topic, yes?

A member of the PCC Forum posted a message about how they built a solar cooker out of cardboard boxes and aluminum foil. After running a test, it was found the solar cooker could hold a temperature between 275F – 300F degrees for over 2 hours. This could open some doors to baking clay outside. Perhaps at outdoor craft fairs, summer camp for kids, etc. Or maybe you just want to reduce your carbon footprint and dependency on fossil fuels. I think this would be a fun projects to build with your kids or students, then bake some clay!

Directions on how to build a Solar Cooker can be found HERE.
