Polymer Clay Sequins

A friend shared this video link with me from the DIY channel. Great project you could do with the kids. Use liquid clay and mica powder to bake sheets of clay, then make circles with a paper punch.

I couldn’t get the video to play but I have done something similar before with clay and punches so I think I can guess what they did. I embedded my punched pieces in clay but never thought to use them like sequins. Very interesting! Now my mind is running with ideas! Thanks Tania!

Sorry I typed Tania instead of Tonja, was thinking of an old friend of mine.

While they actually used glitter, Mica powder would be equally dazzing.
Neat idea, and it fits in with a project I am currently working on! Thanks, Tonja!
