It Pays To Recycle

For some time now I’ve had a stash of sterling wire scrap from all the wire wrapping I used to do. There was also a small amount of gold filled and some scrap PMC bits. With silver prices being so high right now
I decided it was time to send it in for recycling. I mailed it to a jewelry supplier called www.monsterslayer.com, since that’s where I buy most of my wire. I sent it Priority on a Saturday. Got a call on Wednesday to verify that I wanted to trade the contents for more wire. I received my package the following Saturday. So, one week after mailing my “junk” I had 85 feet of sterling silver wire in my hands to play with !! That’s $150 worth of wire to make jump rings for chainmaille. Now to find a way to trick my hubby in to doing most of the work 🙂
